Alejandro Garnacho Likely to Leave Manchester United This Summer

Sources claim head coach Ruben Amorim no longer considers Alejandro Garnacho a player for his systems after personally informing the winger he could find a new club, which places Garnacho’s potential exit from Manchester United in the summer of 2025. The 20-year-old has so far registered 58 appearances this season for United, finding the back of the net 11 times. Nonetheless, there are concerns related to his discipline, such as the quite famous case of him walking directly into the dressing room after being substituted in the game against Ipswich Town—prompting him to organize a team dinner as a means to apologize.

Garnacho’s omission from the squad for the last Premier League fixture of the season against Aston Villa has led to speculation that Amorim is poised to go without Garnacho for the next phase of the project. But as it is, Amorim has also come out to confirm that he intends to have Garnacho for the near future and that he is likely to join the team on their pre-season trip to Asia.

Chelsea, Napoli, and Arsenal are among several clubs said to have set their sights on Garnacho. In January, Napoli made a move but failed to finalize an agreement. Now, Arsenal are also said to have reached out to the young Argentine’s representatives to discuss the details of an eventual transfer.

As stated in reports, Manchester United would consider selling Garnacho should a favorable offer emerge, with his current market value set at approximately £62.5 million.

While currently contracted to United, the player’s future with the club is unclear.
