Napoli lifted their fourth Serie A title in the club’s history following a 2–0 win over Cagliari on the 23rd of May 2025, a game played at their home venue, The Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, situated Naples.
The victory was delivered by Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku’s goals which ensured that Napoli remained a point ahead of Inter Milan. Inter won their last game of the season too, but could not overtake Napoli in the standings.
Stadium Diego Armando Maradona ,previously named Stadio San Paolo, has been the official Napoli Stadium since 1959. Fuorigrotta is it’s located district in Naples and the stadium has a 54,726 sitting capacity.
This is Napoli’s second Serie A title triumph in three years, a stark change also attributed to head coach Antonio Conte.
Conte made history for lifting the Serie A trophy with three different clubs: Juventus, Inter Milan, and now Napoli, adding his name into the history books as the first manager to do so.
Napoli supporters enjoyed the triumph in absolute excess just like in the 80s golden era of Diego Maradona, the last time they enjoyed so much fervor around the club.
